Recipe for Savory Tofu Baked French Toast

Recipe Ingredients

8 ounces silken tofu, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 whole egg, large, 12 slices whole grain bread, 3/4 cup 1% milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

In a food processor or blender mix all ingredients, except the bread and set aside in a bowl. Cut bread or simply use already sliced whole grain bread. Soak each slice of bread into the mixture, coating both sides and placing them on a prepared sheet pan with cooking spray.   Bake for 5 minutes and then flip them over and bake for 3 more minutes or until golden.
